Hello! My name is Beatriz and I was born in sunny Spain, Cádiz in Andalucía! I come from the capital city where Hercules erected the Pillars of Hercules on his way to fetch the Cattle of Geryon.
I am an enthusiastic and experienced bilingual teacher of native Spanish, and a certified life and business coach (ACSTH), specialized in student engagement, leadership and personal development. Expert in creating productive lessons and fun learning environments. Experience in exams and test preparation.
I studied Tourism and Languages in Spain and specialised in English and German, then I moved to London twenty-two years ago where I studied translation at the University of Westminster. I work as a freelance Spanish teacher, teaching professional adults, children and small groups, online and on site, as well as management teams in small organisations. I also teach Spanish to students who travel to Spain frequently, or are thinking of moving to the country.
My methodology includes all the skills students need to feel confident when communicating in another language: speaking, listening, reading and writing. I also teach grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation.
I love seeing the progress they make on a daily basis and how important it is for them to improve their communication skills and their self-confidence.
I love reading (I think I may be a book addict...), teaching, travelling and meeting with my friends for a good laugh whether in London or in Spain!
With longer and warmer days, May is the month when Spaniards take to the streets to throw fiesta after fiesta.

It may be called the April but because Easter fell late in...
