I am a native English speaker from Birmingham in the UK. I have been supporting students of English in schools and colleges for the last 3 years in England and Australia. This includes supporting students that have disabilities such as Autism, with language and communication. This type of role requires that I speak in a simple and clear manner which is ideal for learners beginning to study English. I have qualifications up to a graduate level in Psychology and a level 3 certification in supporting learning.
I believe the best way to improve in a language is not being afraid to make mistakes and using learned vocabulary in everyday conversation. The more regular and consistent you are with speaking, the more you will improve in the language overall. My lessons will be informal everyday conversation unless you want to focus on a specific topic of interest. As I have experience in report writing and Harvard referencing at university, I will also be able to help academics with their work. My interests and hobbies include science, technology, learning German, programming, martial arts and sport.
My lessons will be more suitable for the following people;
Learners that require speaking practice with a native speaker.
Learners with disabilities.
Learners undertaking social science courses.
Learners that are travelling to the UK or Australia.
