I am a native English speaker from Canada and have lived in many countries. I grew up in Germany, so I am biligual. In school I learned Spanish so I am familiar with the process of learning a second language.
I have taught English in several countries and helped my students to develop confidence in their abilities. It takes both dedication and patience to develop language skills as in any other pursuit, but I hope that in my classes you won't feel the frustration of being taught in an incomprehensible way. I will walk you through the process and break the challenges down in managable steps and hope to make the experience rewarding.
I can help you with your pronunciation, your vocabulary, your grammar... We can expand your vocabulary through activities and conversation. We can work together on your writing and reading skills. I will tailor my lessons to your individual needs, which is the great advantage in one on one lessons: we have the room to concentrate on your interests and your goals.
I welcome students from all backgrounds and all levels of English. I am curious to learn about new cultures and different ways of life.
At the moment I am a student in Literature and philosophy. I am interested in the ways communication affects and delights and makes people connect. My other great passion is psychology. Next to my studies I am training to become a therapist. I play the guitar and love music above all.
I believe life is a life-long learning experience and I am happy to adopt my classes to different ages and different challenges.
I hold a Celta Certificate that enables me to teach English all over the world.
I hope to see you soon.
