면접 준비 - 영어 전문 원어민 선생님
Hello, and thank you for considering me on your English-learning journey! I teach adults who are of intermediate-advanced level. I do not teach beginners, sorry about that! (It's just because I haven't had the right training for that). My teaching style is relaxed, patient, and engaging. I make lessons comfortable and interesting for students, but I will also correct your mistakes and challenge you. I respect each student's learning style and can adapt to suit different goals and interests. I believe in a natural, simple approach to improving English ability. For example, if you are worried about an upcoming conversation with your new boss, I will take the role of your boss and we will practice that conversation until you feel confident with it. My classes are usually conversation-based. I don't give lecture classes, and I don't have a curriculum or syllabus, but I always end up talking about grammar, idioms, vocabulary, and pronunciation in the process of having a conversation with students. If you have something specific you need to prepare for, such as an upcoming interview or presentation, I can definitely help you with that! I am also happy to answer any questions you have about material you are learning in other English classes or by yourself, and help with document editing/proofreading. I have a lot of travel experience, especially in Asia, Europe, and Mexico, which has made me comfortable relating to all kinds of people. I enjoy getting to know my students' personalities and cultures, and inspiring them to reach for their dreams! A little about me and my interests: I love reading, writing, philosophy, animals, and music (I play violin). I'm currently living a nomadic life, traveling to a different country every 3 months. All the best! -Sylvie
Hi, my name is Jasna and I have been a teacher here on Verbling since 2016. How would you like to learn to speak English from a native speaker? I was raised and educated in Australia where I did a lot of voluntary work as a translator helping new migrants settle in to their new country. I also helped a lot of children adjust to learning in their new English speaking schools. I am now living my European dream and often work with local businesses and non-profit organizations with translation services. But my favorite work is tutoring young students with English to help further their education or for when they decide to travel abroad. In 2016 I completed IELTS Academic Exams with a CEFR C1 result so I can offer first hand advice on what to expect with these much sought after exams. My career in Australia was mainly centered around Finance & Administration, including my own business, which means I have had many years of practice perfecting business communication skills. Whether you would like to learn how to speak English as a hobby, to travel, for study or to communicate better with your business partners I would love to help you achieve your goals. My approach to teaching English is with regular practice and conversations. My hours are flexible and if the standard hours I have set do not meet your requirements, please send me a message and I will do my best to arrange and make available a time that will be suitable for both of us. I hope to be speaking with you soon.
I'm a qualified English teacher and a native speaker from the UK. I specialise in improving spoken English. I have been teaching English to adults for more than 12 years and have taught more than 25,000 online English lessons. In my lessons, you will expand vocabulary and improve fluency. You will learn to speak confidently and communicate effectively. You will receive the practice and correction that you need to succeed in English. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy travelling, taking photos, walking my dog, and I love cooking for my friends and family. If you would like to improve your English, I would love to help you. I hope to speak with you soon. Emma :-)
Hello everyone, my name is Carl and I was born in Canada. I have a passion for teaching, and believe teaching like learning should be fun to get the most out of it. I focus on Pronunciation using Phonetics (what does it sound like). Most of my students struggle, because they are still using their native sounds while speaking English, which is why they usually have a strong accent. In my classes we keep it simple and go back to basics, discussing the sounds that each letter of the English Alphabet make, it’s Vowels and Consonants, and then moving on to Syllables and how that changes the Intonation of their speaking. Speaking is sound, and sound is physical, it is all about the parts of the mouth being in the correct position, so if the parts of your mouth are in the same position as mine, we will make the same sound. You don’t have to think about it, it just happens. There are 26 letters in the English Alphabet, but there are a minimum of between 39 and 48 sounds, depending on which accent you wish to use. It is much easier for you to memorize 48 sounds than it is to memorize 4,000 words! Once you do this, you will have a neutral accent, and then you can decide how you wish to change these to sound more American, English or Australian etc. So if you are determined to improve your English Language Skills, and you are looking for a teacher who believes that teaching and learning are about having fun while learning in order to produce the best results I hope you will contact me, and give me an opportunity to help you achieve your goals. Thank you, and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
I'm from Seattle Washington, USA. I have bachelor's degree in Law and Justice, a minor in Ethics, and I completed the honors program at my university. Additionally, I have a CELTA certificate and have been teaching English for a year, both at a language center and online. I am a language learner myself (Spanish) living in a foreign country, so I understand what it's like to learn a language. I use a student centered, communicative approach where I emphasize teaching students how they can express ideas, feelings, and thoughts. While grammar is important, it is ultimately just a tool we use to express and communicate. My lessons are individualized and conversation based depending on the students needs, wants, and interests. For me, the best way to learn a language is to communicate. Reading, listening, vocabulary, and grammar are essential of course, but guided speaking practice can greatly increase the rate of learning.
I am experienced teacher with diverse interests. I am have British and American nationality so I know about both countries. I have experience in professional English from many different fields: medicine, law, science, engineering, etc. Have prepared students for many exams. I took some time off from teaching to focus on some study opportunities in the arts and hope to be able to open my availability in the future. If you would like to have a class with me, please send me a message and we can find a time! My favourite things are: cats, making art, reading books, travelling and eating vegetarian food!
